Calm and quietly confident, Gerard enjoys the atmosphere at 60five. "Everyone is so relaxed and friendly here - with each other, with the staff and with our patients. There are no egos or attitudes, because it's not about us, it's about the patients."
Always keen to offer the patients the latest advances in dental technology, Gerard is delighted to see implants becoming a growing part of the practice, replacing missing teeth with a high-tech, permanent solution. He enjoys the technical side of implants, and has trained with some of the leading experts, Cemal Ucer and Jonathan Schofield.
"Because we treat patients holistically, we're not out to sell treatments. Sometimes, the best course of action for the patient is doing nothing. I like having that option." The display of thank you cards in his surgery shows Gerard's patients appreciate this approach.
